On May 11, 2026, a demonstration titled “Shut Down the Illegal Sale of Stolen Palestinian Land” began in the Midwood area of Brooklyn, near the Young Israel of Midwood synagogue, where a real estate event connected to properties in Israel and the disputed West Bank territories was taking place. The protest brought together pro-Palestinian activists, local residents, human rights organizations, as well as groups of ultra-Orthodox and anti-Zionist Jewish activists from New York, who attended to express opposition to the policies of the State of Israel and support for the Palestinian cause.
