An independent cultural centre based in Acireale, Sicily, the department for Youth Policy on Naantali, Finland, and a theatrical group from Bristol, UK, have involved more than sixty among youngsters, not so young, and migrant political refugees.

In a context in which spaces for culture and associative life are missing, the The Other Me project has been an useful mean to create and strengthen connection between youngsters, new migrant citizens and local people, between the cultural centre and the life in the country.

All together to reflect, via music and theatre, on the theme of the “Other”, the one outside of us, and the one inside: two faces of the same coin, never ending to frighten us.
